Then, let me ask you this: How many times do you catch a reflection of your yourself (either the mirror or car window etc) the whole day?

Anyways, I think plastic surgery etc whatever is not that bad....up to an extent. The people who make the changes do not fuss about it and make it a big deal to the world, in fact the world is obssessed with details like that because they cannot grasp the concept of perfection because we are faulty creatures. Such as you (you did start the thread), you notice and look for these things and proclaim that Ash and Sushmita and Mallika were not born that way etc.

Its ok, human nature is like that.

i don't ever look at myself and say oh i need this done, i am not insecure like many ppl i know i am confident in what i have and i am glad i got my mom's genes who i might say are good natural beauty genes like my brith mother has omg! amazing cheekbones and ppl are soooo jealous of my mom's cheekbones they think she got them done. And my mother is the most beautiful women i know who has been through alot in her life.

In conclusion i would ban plastic surgery it takes away a women nautral beauty

Uh, great argument.

Insecurity does not ONLY come from beauty...it can be money, self-esteem , confidence issue etc.

I would say that plastic surgery adds to a women's natural beauty.

Example: Ear piercing, it was considered primitive and barbaric...and still there are a few mothers dead against it. But, most people don't think of it like that because it is a beautifying experience...it adds to your beauty. Slowly it has evolved and people are more accepting of it. Of course, techonology has moved on to other body parts piercing.

The same goes for plastic surgery. Not everything about it is bad, try to have an open mind it.
