We hyderabadi's seem to be the at the recieving end always. Its either the politicians or the police that have their way. When one puts a blown rule into practice the other stops it altogether....

I got shocked to observe that all motor riders are going cool with out helmet even after 3’rd Nov deadlines.

The police too are very happy not intervening at all.

Then why the huge and useless publicity was given to this issue (Helmet rule) by the press?

This is every year’s comic story.
We are all jokers for the month of November.

but again yesterday the Chief Secretary clarified that the helmet rule is on and there is no rollback. they are just giving some more grace period to the public and cracking down on helmet black marketeers....

Today near Patny center around 1130 hrs I was stopped by the police.

I was wearing a helmet then.

They asked me the License and pollution certificate.

I showed them the license.

But I did not have pollution certificate.

I thought Rs 100 is gone.

Finally I was left free after being noticed by the police that am a doctor that too young lady.

I took one coffee at Kamats with free heart.

Look, let the rule and deadline go to hell. You shud buy a helmet not for protecting your head. Because the pace at which hydies drive, there is no scope of any fatal injury. You need helmet to protect your self from pan spitters. Those jerks who spit paan and spootum out of buses which might land on your head. You know its theirs when it falls on your head and you don't wanna touch it to confirm!

In such cases a helmet can save your day. Also, you can safely inform the spitter of what you think of his mother and what you would like to do with his sister. In case he retaliates, you can too by throwing your helmet on his face!

See, so many uses. And with government removing 12% service tax on it and encouraging All India Helmet Manufacturers Association ( where did this come from?!! :shock:

) to organise a helmet mela, i guess you better purchase one for your self. Atleast to save your shampoed hair with livon anti-tangle gel ( soon after bath with palmolive aroma theraphy)

By the way, can men use Livon??.. ladies???

well...i do go to the nearby Health n Glow with my wife coz she buys her stuff frm there and I am a hit with the girls behind the counter

while she's scanning the shelves i usually make small talk with the girls!!

for myself, i've just bot a can or two of shaving foam from there... :roll:
