Diwali - Festivity Of Lights

by Deepa » Sat Nov 02, 2002 4:43 pm

As kids, my brother and I used to wait for the whole day for our father to bring crackers so that we can burst them and show the locality that we are the proud owners of those crackers for the whole evening. Those were the days - as kids we never used to share our crackers with anyone. When mom and pop picked up some crackers to give them to our maid\'s children, our little hearts used to ache with pain:). Any sweet memories, guys/gals???

the memories i have is fighting with my siblings for crackers... it used to be fun dividing everything \"equally\" between us, & of course, using the \"burnt\" finger (or hand) as an excuse to skip school or college a few (more) days...! :)

Boy...Am I happy to miss Diwali in Hyderabad? Wow! What a feeling! For once, I can sleep without the cracker nonsense. 8)

Though I am too young to be old, I am too old to let Diwali Cracker Happy rowdy's ruin my Diwali.

oh boy...oh Boy. Have a de'light'ful Diwali, Crackerless.

Some post...huh!
