Both points are correct.



Testosterone induces manly features inculing facial and body hair.

Low testosterone = no (few)hair. But no hair does NOt mean no testosterone. A man can have no hair and still be fully verile.



In fact all fetuses start as girls, then after some time for males testosterone production statrts leading to developement of male genitalia. If some virus prevents this fetal testosterone production, every child will be born a girl.



But in men who have bald genes, thier hair follicles in certain areas of head have binding sites to which Testosterone II (a biproduct of natural teststerone breakdown) binds causing those hair follicles to shriwel and loose the hais shaft. That is why you have hair loss only in certain areas of head. Men who don't bald do not have this binding site in their follicle cells.



The hair loss pills prevent the formation of testosterone II. Only 5% users experience decreased lebido and 2% go impotent. These affects are reversed if you stop taking the medicine. These affects happen to older men 45 and higher in age.

Hair and libido both are where they should be. I was asking since this person looks like; knows a lot about it.



Somebody told me that if you take these pills, Women grow hair and Men grow boobs! Is that true.



Also, I thought too much TTT = baldness. I had read excess DiHydroTestostrone(DHT) was the agent that causes hair to fall.
