How westernized has Hyd become?

There were but i just used to hate all of them dunno why but jsut unkown hatred towards them. But now since i am changed I dislike them even more b/c i htink they don't live up to culture. Hmm do i sound like the true meaning of the word CONFUSED DESI? I will hush now..!

But now Ive seen and heard how Hyderabad is becoming, and it scares me.

A little freedom and a little fun isnt bad. I just hope Hyderabadis realise that the way Hyderabad used to be was so much better.

People in India dont understand that mocking a Western lifestyle isnt only about their outfits, language, and freedom.



If they only knew how American kids are, they'd see how much better it

is to live like an Indian.



Americans dont have any sense of respect for their parents, teachers, or elders. They go and come as and when they please. They have a mind of their own once theyre 16-17, sometimes even younger. Sexual freedom is at its height, which is why there are pregnant adolescent girls across the country. When I was in high school, there were classmates of mine who were already mothers of 3 or 4 yr olds. And there were scores of pregnant girls too.



People try to distance themselves from religion as much as they can. Now theyre petitioning to remove the phrase, "In God We Trust" from currency.



Anyways, thats whats going down around in this country.

The thing is that in india/hyd are talking the only bad part of the westren culture they are not caring about the good part. There are alot of good things in this country!!! will elbrate more later

well, with the IT revolution, hyderabad has adopted the good western work culture n along with it came the other side too...we really cant do much, but accept the changes n move on...remember that each generation is "faster" than the one before...enforcing any values and moral-policing wud be counter-productive.

My parents recently got the gemini/teja tv in our house i came home and swtiched o the tv and teja news or w/e was ocmng on they were showing something realted to pubs in hyd how ppl got drunk so much that they don't even know hwo the heck they were dancing with and such. I saw young girls with beer bottles on top of their heads and dancing I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! It's just not what i expect or expected till now.. I am still in the shock..... I genreally odn't like ppl getting drunk seeing even girls doing that justtttttttttttttt

the key word in my statement is enforcing. values have to be taught in a way that the learner actually sees the benefit in following it. Enforcing anything wud lead to a rebellious attitude. now a days when there is a lot of opportunities to rebel, compared a few years ago, its better not to enforce anything. go with the flow but just take care to avoid tumbling over the precipice.
