Trekking groups

Hi all..

Are there any trekking groups in Hyd? How active are they? What is the procedure to join them? Which areas do these group(s) cover? How frequent are treks arranged?

Can somebody please give me any of address/email/phone numbers.

There are lots of them. I know one such bunch. They trek most of morning and some times in the evenings.

Very Active... I tried to stop and talk to them one day and they wouldnt listen to me... They just wanted to climb the mountain. They were kinda in a hurry to get to the top.

But before you decide to meet these people. Dont ask me what they do once they reach the top of the hill. Maybe I should tell you anyway. They conduct an experiment everyday. They poo(take a dump, sh**) and roll the turd downhill to see which turd reaches the ground first.

I dont have a club of my own, but i can organise a cool forest trek the next time i m in hyderabad. Will let ya know when its gonna be planned. Believe me it wud be fun. Well frm Hyderabad, the forestes we wud be covering wud be mostly Srisailam (Tiger Reserve), Waranagal (Eturunagar Forest), Badhrachalam Forest, Adilabad Forests.

There are some cool places we have discovered/ explored in the srisailam forest and Warangal forests.

Well i aint, but i have had one nice experience with these dalam people in the middle of the forest once.

They were testing their grenades' reliability just around the area we were exploring in the forests. Two of my Gurus, even met them in real, who were interrogated till they were convinced that their visit to the wilderness was just an educational plus exploration trip.

I understand when you have to poo you have to poo. I just didnt understand the fascination of these people in climbing the hill to do this! Every day I see them go up to the top to poo. I think maybe they are trekking enthusiasts and they are combining two of their hobbies.. to poo and trek.
