These days I watch ESPN a lot. One of my current favorite programs is on it - Harsha Online. One of the very few shows where the celebrities actually talk. I used to hate Mathew Hayden before I saw him of Harsha Online. Now, I respect the guy. That was one highly inspiring interview. Did anyone of u guys see it?

Another good program on ESPN is the quiz. Have a feeling this has taken over BQC as the numero uno quizzing show for the kids (although BQC is still aired on Sony, it doesn't enjoy the past recognition).

And about the south channels and Zee cinema airing some uncut stuff, I saw 40 Days 40 Nights on HBO uncut - nudity, expletives and all that jazz. Zee MGM also goes without censoring occasionally.

But c'mon people, the Indi-pop videos show much more copulation and skin than all these channels put together!

I switch on the tv because I am bored. What kills me is that by the time that I surf through the channesls and decide that nothing is worth watching, it is 30-45 minutes down the drain

There were days the TV used to rule my life. A prog at a given time and I would make sure all my chores were done by then. A call in between a fav serial would be ignored or cut to the shortest possible length. Really miffed all my friends!!

These days there are so many channels offering so many programs catering to so many diff tastes of ppl. One is really not sure what to watch. No amount of "selective" viewing would help. Sometimes I wonder if its the fault of a "remote control". You hop to the next in the hope of finding a better one and when you finally decide which one you like, its either over, or you dont remember, or there is an ad or the doorbell/telephone rings or ......you fall asleep.

There were some real favs though

Wonder Years

Whose Line is it Anyway?

Simpsons

Planets Funniest animals

Some Specials from NGC and Discovery

Cyber detectives (spooks me up to know all the motives that can drive one to murder)

HBO and Star Movies

Used to like Sitcoms but they can get very predictable sometimes.

The not-so fav ones outnumber them sadly , dubbed serials, soap operas, game shows, talk shows(Oprah Winfrey, Donahue and their Indian counterparts...), countdown shows, mythological blah, blah, blah ........................

Thankfully these days I find myself in front of the Idiot box only for some cricket or news ...

Bloody convent educated kids :x no one watches DD8.

My favourite program on TV is 'Sri Krishna eka patrabhinayanam' on DD 8. One hr program aired at 11.00 in the morning (yeah I used to stay at home just to watch this program, during my BE, Bewarse Engineer).

Small wonder on star plus and Tom n jerry, Mask, swat kats and centurions on cartoon network are/were my favourite programs.

Passive watching/hearing of Telugu serials like amma, akka, pinni, chelli, pedamma, attamma etc and sandhya, vinitha, sunitha etc is just as harmful as passive smoking.

These days I watch History and only History channel (u need special filters to filter out US is this and US is that BS) and sometimes Comedy central - The man show and stand up comedy.

People are crazy, at times are strange. I am locked-in tight, I am out of range.
I used to care, but things have changed.
