How to flush out Talibana and other like-minded terrorists.

Guys:
I read this in a few sites and wanted to show you guys what the Indian government could do..

http://urbanlegends.miningco.com/library/bl_black_jack_pershing.htm

HOW TO STOP ISLAMIC TERRORISTS...... it worked once in our History...

Once in U.S. history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so \"Black Jack\" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.

Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The U.S. soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs\' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.

Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won\'t make them flinch.

They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won\'t get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.

How to flush out Talibana and other like-minded terrorists.

A Former chief of staff of the army once said that he told the then PM (I think it was Rajiv) to look the other way for a coupla days n he\'ll set everything right! (He was talkin abt the militancy in Kashmir). Given the volatile nature of the issue n the furore it wud create in the parliament, he didn\'t give the cheif the go ahead.

In his memoirs, says the Chief \'it wud have taken just few days to wipe out the militants JK; all I needed was the authority\'.

Wud he have done wot Archana said above??...dunno, cuz he doesn\'t reveal he means. I guess, when it a matter of Honor (of the country), the end need not justify the means.

Anand:

The outcome of this method is useful to everybody, soldiers and innocent civilians.

Unfortunately, as you mentioned, the politicians do very little about it; they yell out Taliban, Pakistan, and yet do nothing about it.. just to keep the issue alive.

If the FBI is so smart as to track by satellite the exact location Saddam was seen, why have they not yet arrested him? Same goes for Osama Laden (or Usama Laden whatever his darn name is...) like they don\'t know that he is a state guest in Karachi or who he is fathering in which country right now..

yep Archana, all the brouhaha is just to gain political mileage. Most politicans don\'t care too much about anything anyway. I have a feeling that whoever said that they have the inside track on Saddam is just blind sighting the Congress only to keep the $$ flowing. If the Secret Service really has an inside track on Saddam, they wud have taken him in (or out! cuz remember, they want him dead or alive!) by now. Wot are they waiting for? - the stars to align in some favorable position??

Earlier, I didn\'t have anything against the war on Iraq. But when the Poms blew the lid off MI6 proving that the report(that Iraq has weapons or the potential to make
\'em) they turned in to the House of Commons was made up, n when so many US soldiers began getting killed, I began questioning the war on Iraq.

Osama is a totally different story. Yep, it\'s known far n wide that he is a state guest of Pak; the US knows it and knows it only too well! why they don\'t twist Pak\'s arm to cough him up baffles me; granted, Pak is a major ally and biggest buyer of their arms. Maybe the US is not too comfortable with the idea of India being the most powerful nation in South-east Asia (esp., given the pace at which the economy is growin). They have clipped his wings for most part n don\'t perceive him to be as big a threat as he once was. They feel all he is left with is a few mercenaries (Actually, I wudn\'t even give \'em such a strong connotation; \'guerillas\' is more like it!) some of who keep the Indian Army busy. This ensures that the primary focus
remains on the skirmishes across the border and on Kashmir; everything else is secondary, the economy included. As long as India n Pak are embattled in this proxy war, there is somewhat of a balance of power in the region. No wonder, the US hasn\'t really pushed to mediate the peace process like in case of the Arabs n Israel, cuz it\'s comfy with present scenario. But the US also knows when push comes to shove, India can wipe Pak clean, off the map!

But, are these reasons enuf to not pursue the man behind biggest modern day tragedy???
