Hi, We) moved to USA recently. My kids are 12 yrs(son). and 10 yrs.(10) now. Now we have a green card also. Sometimes I worry how do I keep them in touch with our culture and some sentiments especially about marriages, raising kids, etc.

Madhavi, The best way to keep your culture and get the best from the western side is to get involved with what your children are doing. I did this and I am happy to say that my children are proud to be Indians. They have an american accent undoubtedly but they speak really good urdu. They love indian movies and love coming to India twice a year. Yes, they hate some things in Hyderabad but they don\'t like some western things, too. So get involved with whatever they do and support them to show them that we do the right things in India.

NAZ,
Thanks for the directions.
I keep sending them to India in summers to make them to live with their cousins, aunts and uncles.
