Visiting Hydee needs help

Anyway here goes...
 

 
I\'m in Hyd right now visiting for a few weeks from another well known country (to most Hyderabadis)... looking for shopping ideas. I\'m specifically looking for a store that sells brand-name sunglasses (didn\'t bring mine along) .... Any recommendations ?!
 

 
Unfortunately, all my Hyderebadi buddies are not in the City at the moment ... but fullHyd is full of helpful souls and I\'m hoping someone\'s gracious enough to help out !!
 

 
btw, Hyderabad is awesome... changed quite a bit... All the new restaurants, shops, cultural centers, \"Hip\" fashions... it\'s cool. But, I digressed :-)

Send away your recommendation for a good sunglass store and you may be the lucky winner of a Lunch Buffet at the Grand Kakatiya or Greenpark with me :-)

(Ok ok... I\'m not a cine-star and you really don\'t know me... so let\'s skip the lunch with me part, but you\'ll be eligible to receive a Lunch coupon at the aforementioned restaurants!)

Hey Rover,
 as far as shades go, check out the Lawrence& Mayo outlets (Banjara Hills and Sec\'bad). They stock raybans. You could check out Shopper\'s Stop and Lifestyle too. No idea about the ladies\' apparel, though

hey!
 if u r staying in or near punjagutta-somajiguda-banjara hills u need not go far. apart frm Lifestyle, u can try Pantaloons (opp Hyd. public school, begumpet). for ladies and gents western garments there are excellent bargains at shops like \"CoolClub\" at WhiteHouse building next to LifeStyle.
 
 for Ethnic wear u have Neeru\'s near Amrutha Mall, Raj Bhavan Road. Amrutha Mall itself has a great collection of shops for Indian and Ethnic wear.
 
 for jewellry there are endless choices right from ameerpet road (opp greenpark) and on road towards punjagutta police station from amrutha mall.

 I\'ll try my luck with the Women\'s apparel thing... I\'ll basically walk into any store that looks nice... find a girl (hopefully! - Hyderabad doesn\'t seem to be lacking in fashion) who\'s wearing a nice outfit - point the shop rep to that girl and say, \"I\'d like something in that style\". I\'ve done this before without knowing what the heck type of dress I\'m buying - but it worked ...

Rover, are you looking to buy only dresses for your wife? Not sure if you know, but Hyderabad is famous for its pearls - and you have a lot of these jewellers specializing in pearl jewelry. The market near Charminar would be a good place to test the waters. IMHO, nothing comes close to the beauty of a pearl necklace around lady\'s neck. Not gold, not diamonds - and it\'s easy on the wallet too

 1.Gaint super market.
 2.Life Style
 3.shoppers stop
 4.Palantoons
 5.Gaint mall in ameerpet.
 6.chandana Bros ( exclusive for women.. )
 7.BOmanna saries ( exclusive for women)
 8.Jagadamba pearls ( pearls )
 9.chairminar for bangles
 
 the list would be exhaustive... Check with AP tourism they would provide you will qualified guide, male/Female... they would be of great help to you to show places and for shopping also..

Gee...IceOnEuropa-Hydvisit1 is one hell of an ID. Is that the only ID u could get?
 Anyway, welcome to Hyderabad, enjoy ur stay. While in hyderabad to move around u can use my Limo . All u have to do is ask me.
 Ok dont get high hopes, Limo is not a Mercedez or a Ferrari make (yes, Ferrari limo exists) but its our own Hyderabadi extended Auto!
 
 PS: How many of you here have experience of driving auto?
