Bored as hell in Hyderabad

Any good ideas of what to do when one\'s new in Hyderabad? I\'m sooooo friggin pissed. Perhaps some sport, hang around ...? But where to head?

Depends what you\'re used to doing. There are oodles of pubs around, so if it\'s pub-hopping you\'re looking it, the scene isn\'t all that bleak. I\'ve heard there\'s adventure sports happening on the Hussain Sagar, with paragliding et al, but I\'m not sure, haven\'t checked it out meself. You could try the Adventure Sports Association of AO, though. Movies - looks bleak, because the movies right now seem to be sad. But if Imax sounds interesting, check it out at Prasad\'s Multiplex. Sangeet (Sec\'bad) or Skyline (Basheerbagh) for decent English fare. If you like pool, snooker, bowling, check out Cyclone (dingy, smoky) on Road 1, Banjara Hills, or Alleygator (clocktower, sec\'bad), or this place next to Cherma\'s, Ameerpet, the name of which I keep forgetting Hardly any theatre or performing arts scene here, so don\'t get your hopes up. Come sat night, there are a couple of places you can go dancing to. Anything else?

you can try the T2 disco on weekends at Taj Krishna or at Treasure Island near Gandipet. But remember, get a girl first, for entry is only for couples, esp at T2.
<br>If u r wondering where to get a girl to accompany you, well, enter a hip pub and look for groups of unattached ladies. it all depends on how u talk and what impression u create in them. also, partner hunting can be positive if u r a stag in a (decent looking)group with atleast one girl in it...and a car or two is a must.
