Lyngdoh Justified
Election Commisioner Mr Lyngdoh has justified in saying that it would not be possible to hold assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh in February/March -- the timeframe that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had in mind when he recommended dissolution of the assembly on Friday. Even if we think practically its highly impossible to hold assembly because as of now, many constituents in AP still even dint get the electoral forms to fill up, then how can the public vote for their leaders. Above all the education Institutes will the most suffered Department.
And now Venkaiah Naidu says that, its the people who wants the polls, Venkaiah garu can you show us the people who are asking that, the answer to this question is todays (18th NOV) subani\'s counterpoint.

And if the elections are conducted in feb or march, then I am sure only the people who attended the mahanadu will be voting, needless to say its all the TDP workers will be voting for their leader. So, I highly appreciate the views of Lyngdoh.

Its very clear that the CM obviously wants to cash in on the sympathy wave for the October 1 naxalite attack on his convoy.

It is also believed that Naidu does not want to take the risk of waiting through the summer, when another drought might wreck his party\'s chances of returning to power.

Finally, the public is with the Election Commision and will suport its decision.
