Hey guys! Got any solution for the virus where 2 hidden files, namely \'desktop\' and \'folder\', takeover all your system folders? Anything, besides Norton Anti-Virus? Please help!!!

Well Mr. Sunil, as you are using Norton Antivirus, the latest update can be downloaded from the Norton Antivirus website. Or you can use live up date for updating your Antivirus. Use the following link for downloading the latest Norton Antivirus update.

Sunny,

This virus is generally known as Redlof. It looks like it has been a while since it was discovered first. Well, Norton should detect and clean this. The following page has the details.

Hey, thanks. But do you know of anything other than Norton \'cos Norton really slows down my system, you know na? It uses up quite a bit of RAM.

PC Cillin from Trend Micro is the best virus scanner and prevention tool available. It is much lighter than Norton. You are right about Norton\'s extensive use of resources. Try PC Cillin and see if it makes any difference. FYI, PC Clillin is the best rated scanner out there but their product line for enterprise use isn\'t as good as Symantec\'s (Norton).
