How to send sweets to people IN America!

hey all!

please do hear me out, crisis time!i was sure i would find help on this site.
my bro just left for the US a few months ago(am in india btw) and his budday is coming up.. and hes developed this massive craving for some indian sweets. so i was thinking i should act like a good yunger sis and send him some...only i cant figure out how! wondered if i should parcel stuff from here-i checked with blue dart and gawd, i cant afford it! so i was wondering if there was an online store somewhere in the US which can deliver indian sweets to its indians who reside there.

Hi Zipzap (nice zippy name you\'hve got) pls don\'t send anything if your brother hasn\'t asked for it (it will get stale in the journey itself) so he won\'t be able to enjoy it. besides there is enough american pies, cheese cakes and haagen daaz type ice creams available in the US that he can get used to in no time. FYI indian sweets made/available in there are quite yuckky. I am sure our desi hydies can throw some light on this issue some more. ok. bye.

we get just abt everything here except a sister, a brother a mom a dad, well, our own family. Since that is not feasible.. And if u can send some stuff that ur bro loves it wud be great. gen. somebody coming to US is the best \'bakra\' if not thru\' any of the \'darts\'. they come here in time and most often fresh enough but not worth the money and time/energy spent. Unless, ofcourse, u send mom\'s made stuff which he will never ever get anywhere else. or the fresh pickles that must be out this summer or the pulla reddy sweets or the almond house sweets are certainly the best. we sure do not get that quality. so, sis? any bakras?
