One simple question for most educated people

Did all those invasions happen in front of you? Are you 1000 years old? Will you stop harping about periods/eras/bygone times? Don\'t you have any sense? Young vulnerable women, children,babies are being buthcered in broad daylight and u r talking of bygone times. The Gujarat massacre has all happend in front of our eyes. Its there in the papers, On TV, in fact finding reports by NGOs and credible bodies like NHRC, IHRC, Minorities Commission. It is there in the terror stricken voices/eyes of the victims. I have seen it Sri and believe me I have had many a sleepless nights. If you have the guts, I will mail you some of the reports. If you don\'t lose sleep over the happenings. If you are not ashamed that you belong to the same religions as those butchers, then you are not human. The purpose of making people aware of the humongous crimes committed by the BJP/VHP/RSS/BD Cadres is so that public opinion builds and the guilty, who many survivors have identified clearly by name can be brought to justice.
For as of now, they are roaming around freely. Remember that what happend cannot be forgotten unless the guilty are punished suitably.

So whats your point Shruthi? That just becuase some hooligans belong to a particular religion the entire clan be punished? You talk about Gujarat issue cause the casualities have risen to an unfortunate number. But there are other incidents where the Islamic fanatics riase the terror. The best example is the old city incident in Hyderabad(I don\'t remember the exact date but it was about a year old) where a group of them walked out of the Mosque and all of a sudden randomly started burning people alive(belive me its a mini Gujarat Massaccare!!). This happens all the time in Hdyerabad old city. All the natives living out there try to forget the unfortunate incident and get along.If you look at that place you find them living together in Harmony. Now tell me , do these people need to hold the grudge and get going on a punishing/killing spree as well?? Aren\'t these people humans as well??Now do we blame the entire Islamic religion adn coresponding groups for the actions of one small ignorant and arrogant group? how come nobody talks about it? My point is not to start yet another issue but am trying to tell you that just because a paticular section of the people turned out to be rotten don\'t blame the entire group/religion for their actions. Keep your head cool and think along the progress of the entire region and not RELIGION. What do you want to achieve? Is it revenge?and what is revenge in your dictionary? kill a Hindu for every muslim dead in the gory incidents? is this what you mean by saying they all should be punished? Think with a cool head and don\'t allow your emotions to rule over your logical thinking!!

If I had to let my emotions rule my logical thinking, I would have probably murdered all those responsible with my own bare hands. But that it not what I am propogating. Neither am i blaming the entire community for the sake of those hooligans. What I am saying is that people who have any morals left in them should build public opinion to ensure that the guilty are punished by the law. Otherwise we will have soon have \"Gaurav\" yatras for each of the murderers/rapists.
The acts carried out in Gujarat were not \"spontaneous outbursts of public sentiment.\" They were carefully planned and executed by precision. And that is what is so horrifying about it. That inspite of all that there are people--educated, literate people--who instead of taking a stand and shouting for justice are trying to cower down the few voices that are trying to make it happen.

Shruthi,you mean to say that its only in Gujarat that it was planend and executed? what about the rest of the incidents all over the Country? No incident atleast religion based, occurs spontaneously. Its at an unexpected time they hit the general public making it to look spontaneous. I think they are planned. The train burning was planned with equal precescion and later on the arson and murders were all mostly spontaneous when people burst with anger. I agree with you on punishing the culprits parts but don\'t limit thepunishment to one particular group!!!

We could argue all night but I have to leave for home. I just want to tell you one thing. Stop being so myopic i your perception of these things. It is very nice to defend people from our fellow faith but not when they indulge in such a deragotary and animal-like behaviour. I could give you so much reliable and correct information on what really happend at Godhra but you would never agree coz you are blinded. So just let it be...Good Night

Mr Raaks you have very poor and wrong information about old city incidents..So lemme tell you that there were NO such incidents like people came from mosque and burned the inncent people for the last couple of years..and even in NTR(Late) period nothing happened like that. Well I feel sorry and strongly condemn for the poor women who are sacrifising their lives on daily basis for DOWARY from all parts of City, Region , State and Country.
