If Charminar didn\'t exist?

If the symbol of Hyderabad, \"CHARMINAR\", were never built, would Hyderabad still be as popular as it is today? What you guys think?

I think Charminar is more famous around the world than the city Hyderabad or Hyderabadis. Any search engine on the internet would fetch more results for Charminar than Hyderabad - may not be the right gauge for conclusion but still gives an indication of the popularity of Charminar.

Charminar to Hyderabad is like a Taj Mahal to North India. Charminar is a crown of hyderabad, as we cannot imagine king witout crown, so as we cannot think of Hyderabad without Charminar. As it difficult for government to build one minar, how can they make char minara.
