Join the anti reservation protests in Hi Tech City on Friday

This is Manoo Kapoor working with CSC(hyd).Today I had a meeting with some more people who think we should come forward to protest against reservations.Below is the minutes of meeting compiled by Brahmaiah Manam .





Event : Human Chain Against Reservation

Date : 26th May 2006

Time : 6.30 PM (18:30 hrs)

Venue : Opposite to the Mind Space, K Raheja IT Park in hi-tech city.

Friends,

We at CSC, Hyderabad has formed a team to contribute in the noble cause of fighting against Reservations in Education and jobs.

In this regard we have formulated an agenda to support the

' Anti Reservation Human Chain programme ' scheduled to be held in the premises of Hitec-City on 26th May 2006, Friday at 6.30PM (18.30 hrs).

A snapshot of the major decisions taken in this meeting are :

1. Distribution of palmplates and Website --Why and How

2. Formation of Human chain

3. Media Coverage

We are running out of time so it needs a lot of support and voluntary participation from each and everyone of us who are against

the move of caste based society.

What and Why are we going to do it?

1. We are going to form a HUMAN CHAIN against Reservation starting from Mind Space IT park .

2. Each of us Hand-in-Hand will form a chain to show case our antipathy to the process of implementing reservations in higher education and jobs.

3. The purpose of this HUMAN CHAIN is to educate the public about the adverse impact of this reservation policy in long run and to show our solidarity

to our doctor friends fighting for a cause.

4. The information is already passed to all the major media houses to give it a vast coverage.(As was informed to me by Sumeet Gupta)

How are we doing it?

1.he success of this task vastly depends on more participation. Let everyone who cares know about this. We depend more on mouth publicity, please let everybody in your reach know this and let them participate in this activity.



2. Second we will be sending a standard format of pamphlet soft copy, take a print of it and place it on all the bikes parked in your company or distribute to as many as possible. (This is specially for people in IT comapnies as there might be a policy that abstains its employees from sending group mails etc.)



3. A website is created which shows the same palmplate in it. Pass on this link to all your reach working in Hyderabad. The message with the link to the website will be sent shortly. (Its stil under progress,will send u the link as ASAP)



4. All the enthusiastic people can come prepared with some small placards. This is especially important to give some colour to the show in the media.

and parallally we dont have time to get them ready in bulk.



5. Each individual can sign on a plane sheet with his cause of protesting the reservations and drop in the drop boxes available. Lets take the responsibility on to our own shoulders. (We are planning to have drop boxes in each office where people can drop their views about reservation,but still not finalised on it)



6. Please pass on the message as many as possible. 'You are the creator of your own destiny'





So guys if you have any suggestion pls let us know .I want the names and email ids of all people who are the single point of contact in their respective companies.Lets do it in an organised way.All these contacts wil help us to perform this event in a better way without giving any has hassles to the commuters
