The NEW FM Radio Station at Hyderabad

.... and so finally Radio Mirchi decided to start airing at our good old city and guess what!!! I was Flabbergasted when I heard it for the first time.... It is dishing out non stop telgu round the clock!!!! GOSH!!!

Were we not better off without a radio station anyways.... :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

listen to Rainbow...its better in this aspect...u get to hear hindi and englsih too.

it's about _ time ..Hyderabad has a FM radio station...



Someone please tell me that (atleast) the DJ is not recommended by the local f'$%n MP or the MLA.. for hussain sagars sake.

Ohh come on...what did you expect. Of course its in telugu.Thats the only way they make money.



When do we actually listen to the radio(I mean this generation),I listen to it only and only if there are no CD's in my car or the CD's are boring. I am assuming that many people here are the same way.



I dont know a single guy who plays radio in their house,they usually hook up their speakers to the computer and start playing mp3's.Do you really think radio mirchi would start a 24hr english channel for just people who are stuck in their car?They would not make any profits that way.I am again assuming that no one listens to the radio in their house,I dont even listen to the radio in US in my car.I prefer having my own playlists rather than the one put by the station.



Just wish they could dedicate an hour or two everyday for some english/hindi songs.Well isnt there something else coming to town(I think its RadioCity).I saw an ad in the paper which said that the jobs of DJ's are open and people interested can apply.Well fingers crossed.....Heard rainbow...they play some good rock songs(the old ones...a.k.a the classics)

no one is asking for a 24 hr hindi/emglish channel....its not viable...but they have do dedicate atleast a few hours for hindi and english programming like Rainbow does. btw, i listen to FM in my car most of the time...i find it very entertaining, even the telugu songs...

Rainbow's good. Especially a program that comes at 5:00 pm called Geet Gata Chal. And on weekends, a RJ named Naghma Siddiqui hosts the show..and man...she's one funny RJ. It's competely HYDRO...

yeah, naghma is damn good. even the other RJ who calls herself "Raj" (maybe short for "Rajeshwari" or something like that) is good and has become very popular.

I wud never expect hindi or eng songs to be played by radio, that too in hyd. And ehh when did we start listening to telugu songs :d atleast I dont until n unless its a song from da movie Super :D
