Hi everyone, With all those interesting boards around this might sound a little too unexciting, but I just couldnt stop sharing
this information with u all. Did u all guys know that Andhrapradesh stands second in India for HIV/ AIDS prevalence.
And if r not careful, we might reach proportions that will be an epidemic. The virus has until now remained so elusive that we scientists and Doctors r groping for answers and r feeling utterly helpless to just watch people die of this disease. The only hope right now seems to be PREVENTION. The Govt is going for Safe sex campaigns against HIV/AIDS.
But Look at these statistics and think twice-
Research has found that there is a 5% risk with condoms in pregnancies(so the same goes with HIV/ AIDS transmission)-So r u willing to take the risk. 15% of Alchoholics r HIV positive (Blamed on the stupor stage they get into and not know what they do or know how to practice safe sex?. 2% of Marijuana users r at risk of this virus, for the same reasons.
In India, 70% of HIV/AIDs victims r heterosexually infected, 7% thru intravenous injections, and 3% via prenatal transmission(mother to child). You guys may never fully comprehend the scenario that is prevailing right now, but with increasing freedom of expression, we r welcoming this disease with open arms into our society. We have recorded that 94% of
the HIV cases r due to premarital/ extramarital flings that guys get into and they inturn pass it on to their young wives and children (produced after their infection). So guys think about this is condom the answer for preventing this disease from knocking at u\'r door or having a safe life style (not practising premarital/ Extramarital relationships).

Hi, and I forgot to mention one more thing, Scientists have studied the statistical rate of prevalence and have come to a conclusion that
if sex was limited only within the marraige , HIV/AIDS would disappear from the face of the earth in twenty years.
