Parkinsons Information

by Mltr » Fri Nov 04, 2005 9:46 pm

indeed an off topic

anyway parkinsons is caused when the dopamine producing cells get damaged by 70 percent or more

dopamine is required in the body for the control of our movements and muscles

if dopamine gets reduced it leads to stiffness of joints and un coordinated movements of muscles

no permanent cure has been found so far but the use of medications like amantadine can hel slow the process of damage of the cells

amantadine has to be taken with the consultation of the doctor and can be bought from online pharmacies like http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3855-s-SYMMETREL.aspx

You can check out WebMD for most health related topics...

http://www.webmd.com

And, no Reeves did not have Parkinsons, his was a spinal injury that lead to neurological problems etc.

I believe it was some other celebrity named Michael J Fox.

Good Luck,

And Mohammad Ali is no less than any comic or movie superman. He truly flies like a butterfly and stings like a bee all the while feeling pretty. One of the few real life incredibles.
God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh. Voltaire, philosopher (1694-1778)
