Keyboard Commands

Hi all!! We will talk something about computers. I know some keyboard commands like \"Alt+F4\" to close a window, \"Shift+Del\" to permanently delete a file, \"Alt+Tab\" to toggle between windows, \"SpaceBar\" to select buttons, \"F5\" refresh, \"Ctrl+F\" to find a word in a window. I would like to know if there are any more??

If the short cuts exist then they will be displayed along side the menu item. Eg. Click on File--> Ctrl+O for opening a file.. like this you will find for all the menu items.

If u want to set a shortcut to an icon on yr desktop,right-click the icon |properties |in the shortcut tab...press ctrl+alt+ any key.Then apply.

Aw\'right!...here\'s more of it...Alt + Tab- Switch between open applications.
Alt + Shift + Tab -Switch backwards between open applications.
Ctrl + Esc -Bring Up start button.
Alt + Esc - Switch Between open applications on taskbar.
F2-Renames selected Icon
F3-Starts find from desktop
F4-Opens the drive selection when browsing.
F5-Refresh Contents
Alt+ F4-Closes Current open program.
Ctrl + F4-Closes Window in Program
Alt + Enter-Opens properties window of Selected icon or program.
Shift + F10-Simulates right click on selected item.
Shift + Del-Delete programs/files without throwing into the recycle bin.
Holding Shift-Boot safe mode or by pass system files.
Holding Shift-When putting in an audio cd will prevent CD Player from playing.
Alt + Left Arrow-Back a page.
Alt + Right Arrow-Forward a page.
F5-Refresh current page / frame.
Esc-Stop page or download from loading.
Ctrl + N-Open New browser window.
Ctrl + P-Print current page / frame

and yes!!!to do é,ê,í,î,ï,á,ç,è etc..search (use the find option not google!!!) for the \'character map\' on your comp.Tht\'s the right and the easy way to do it.Have fun!

sometimes shortcut keys seem to be very handy mate.

U don\'t need the char map... just put the numlock on... and use the numpad and type the following... alt0225 and so on... u\'ll get all u want
