I think yahoo is the best because of its ease and it definitely looks like its the most popular IM client.



The new MSN messenger is nice, it also gives you the option to create your own emoticons!



My fav is still yahoo though
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Try Trillian...



It is a chat client that connects with YM, MSN, AIM and ICQ.. It helps to have all your friends on one client and not worry about running MSN and yahoo and aol clinets on the machine.

I Tried Google's Talk Beta and it looks Good. One Functionality I Liked is that All Messages posted By One Will be Kept on Grouped together Until the Opposite Guy Posts....

for voice chat skype is the best...but half of the time it doesnt connect.... :(



y! and msn ...voice chat sux big time....

2. Emoticons



And also the comunity that Yahoo! has. They might work on 1 and 2, but it is going to take something out of the ordinary to match the sheer size of Yahoo!

Google talk is very simple to use. but i am not sure it'll b as popular as Y!M... :roll:

G talk does not have any state-of-the-art features unlike gmail. I wonder wut should motivate users to switch to G IM. They have recognition for being very creative, but G talk might not live upto the expectations

they'll add new features as they have done with gmail...but to make it more popular they need to make gmail free for all.

Gmail is employing a terrific strategy- they said they gonna make gmail available to public on last April 1st. A prank to get to know the Y!'s reaction.
