Are Indians still afraid of the "British Empire"?

by Inquilaabi » Mon May 20, 2002 12:30 am

Guys,
I would like to know how you feel to discuss the topic of suffering under the british rule and \"return of the plundered wealth to INDIA where it rightfully belongs\".
Any suggestions on this should be addresed with one thing in mind as to how we will attain this.

Dear Inqualabi:

Forget the past and think for present and future what to do to stop communal feelings and hatred with each other community.

The problem is there are a lot of illiterate persons who do not seek to find the root cause of these evils prevailing in the society as of now. These are directly the fruits of the seeds of hatered sown in india by the british.Their criminal policies turned brother against brother.Pls cunsult some learned person or books on India under the british Raj before answering this board. What you want to focus on will lead you as to how it all started by the british.

So dear Inquilaabi what do you suggest now after over 50 years of their departure ? We dig those generals / lords out of their coffins and bring to india and shoot them to death again ??

What the other gentleman is infact suggesting is yes it happened, yes our harmony and brotherhood is seen ruined but now we have to sort this out within our own boundaries - this is where you show your \"leadership\", blaming and cursing what happened in the past is simply waste of time - the challenge is to repair the damage with the available resources. ARE U READY!! And please note no body is afraid of anybody atleast in the context of what you ask.

Sarcasm is irresistable here... but I\'ll try and be serious and look at it from your end... which end would that be? Wake up man, the English are busy burying their own dead... u wanna go over and help them? Right now the instigation lies slightly closer... try looking over ur shoulder up north... Or maybe u still wanna blame the Brits for the people dying in Guj? Get real sir... Discussions like these are not doing anyone any good!

Inquilabi...how far can we go back? Should the Dravadians kick out the Aryans from North India?? Living in the past aint gonna help anybody. Fifty years a long period to sort out problems, but unfortunately we\'ve failed collectively. Need to look into the future and see how can we build a strong nation. Primary education, clean drinking water, health care, protection of life, property and honor are the burning issues. Lets work to make India a better place to live. To start with, lets kick this government out. A corrupt government, expertly throwing bones to coalition dogs and working its way to divide the nation.

Dear Mr.Sher Khan and the likes of you.
With all due respect i will have to state that you are missing the point of intrest and concern here. You guys have not only failed to dechipher the message but have read it upside down.
It comes as no surprise to me why India is lagging behind so much after reading your response. You gape at what is happening now.Surprise don\'t be!!!.
You guys can just play the role of mudslingers and not the truth seekers.
It has not come to your attention up till now i believe that nations like Israel have successfully prosecuted and won settlements amounting to billions of dollars lost due to injustice done and their wealth plundered.
If you do not act now and unite to get justice i do not believe the precarious situation that had been created by the british just for the sake of the \"CROWN\" will predominantly exist for a long period of time.

Whatever the language you may use you are going to speak the same thing..It is not the language my dear it is the thinking which is bothering..and i would be happy to see you think rationally..not wishfully. By all this I am sure you are a square person..and i always enjoy dealing with squares..
