Visa to which place?
Not a weird topic... i'm serious ... these kids here.., they are hyderabadi but they can marry punjabi, gujrati, pakistani etc... they seriously want to know why they should marry hyderabadi... What is the benifit.. So i am asking for all your widsom.. to guide our young ones..
Are you not contradicting yourself? you may not be, but seems like that from the way you wrote.Betty wrote:The reason that a Hyderabadi should marry a hyderabadi is the same as why people of a community should marry a person from the same community....i.e. it makes life easier as parents don't oppose them and 'well-wishers' don't eat their heads later about how their spouse would not have done anything wrong had he/she been from the same community. You can also add to that the other usual benefits like lack of language barriers, no cultural clashes and if some tastes can be linked to language/community (like hyderabadis liking biryani and bengalis idolizing Tagore), then those tastes would match...
In any case, I still don't see why you want to brain-wash young people to stick to their community...isn't the world becoming a 'global village'?

...maybe my can-see-both-sides-of-the-arguement stand was a little confusing...
took the words outta my mouth.Betty wrote:3. There are benefits of marrying within the community but that does not actually outweigh the benefits of marrying outside it.

Why do people want to go with the same old genes, habits, looks. Gotta inject fresh genes...
haawa wrote:Hello people... i have been challenged by some fellow North American Born Hyderabadi's to compile a list of Top 10 Reasons why someone should marry a Hyderabadi and post it on http://www.hyderabadmatrimony.com/
