any suggestions for things to do in hyderabad?

by cloudyphiz » Tue Jun 07, 2005 5:52 am

I'm from the US and here for a week for work, the first two days we hit most of the main attractions (charminar, the fort, the tombs, the museum, etc.) and all the cab drivers seem to want to take us back to the same places. I'm curious if anyone here has suggestions for other things that'd be good to see while I'm here. I'd really like to get out of the city and see more of the country, but I don't know where to go. Everyone keeps trying to send us to film city but that doesn't sound so interesting to me. I'd really appreciate some suggestions.

This is an amazing place though, and the experience of being here is something I'll never forget.

Hey Gary,

If you wanna venture out of Hyd, then Bangalore and Delhi are great places to visit.

In Hyd, why dont you go watch a hindi movie? The songs, dances, melodrama, and intense fight scenes ( )wont put you to sleep.

No seriously though, some hindi movies can really be enjoyable.

Or take your camera and go to Temples, Churches, etc.

Have you been to Tank Bund yet? You can take a boat ride to that statue in the water.

This was just my 2 cents. Good luck and have fun!
Whenever you can't sleep
May you be treated to a song
And heaven cracks
A song falls softly from the light of heaven.
