anyone know anything about rugs?

i'm in hyderabad for a week and i'm really thinking of buying a silk rug from kashmir, unfortunately i don't know enough about them and don't want to pay too much. if anyone could give me some advice about how to bargain and what a good price is i'd definitely appreciate it.

Wish I could help....but I dont live in Hyd and def. dont know a thing about rug prices.

But this I'll tell you----CAD will give you some good advice. And Im sure there are several others who know about Kashmiri rugs too.

sorry lexi, i dunno much abt kashmiri rugs in hydbad....but i know of many shops that see rugs....but may not be kashmiri

I suppose you can wait till the annual crafts fair starts in Shilparamam but that will only be in December....
