ah, your right though he's great with words. personally i prefer to read the lyrics rather than listen to him cos i hate hip-hop. my brothers mad into it though (or was last time i saw him)



i love that purple pills song, it was hilarious when they tried to sanitise it for radio in the UK, literally every line involved illegal drugs, the song lost all meaning. they even had to change the name to Purple Hills. actually thats even more trippy.

the other person i think is also a lyrical genius in the current glam world is this brit chick called Dido. she makes good sense. I might sound a bit gay.. but hey. she is pretty good.

I had an Uttapam at Kamath Near Saifabad and it was Quite Greasy but Good.

At Taj Tristar they have some really good breakfast buffets.Just for Rs.70/-.All you can eat.They have everything.Its really worth it.

Maybe he doesn't know who he is and trying to see if maybe he is one of us who got lost or maybe he is looking for his long-lost twin brother and trying on everyone's shoes on for size because he feels that since they are twins their shoe size should also match, since we don't wear shoes in the virtual world (since we become just binary digits rolled off various processors and Boolean gates), he is using the second best thing he can think of, he feels that maybe if the ID fits me well, then the person using that ID is me or my long-lost twin brother, actually could even be both, coz if u look at it theoratically you really are you're own twin aren't you?

The Past week had been pretty hectic.And to top it all,there was a Sudden 'Strike' declared by our messwallah.So had to eat out the whole week.And By Wednesday,we Went Broke!!!



Monday was Wang's Kitchen.Lots of Variety.Some of the names I did'nt know at all.And Since we refrained from experimenting with Thai or Malay Cuisines,we stuck to Good Old Chinese.Food was nice and so was the ambience.But the real Surprise element was the Check.We were Bamboozled(Well,not actually since we already seen the rates on the menu )

600 odd for 2 people!!!!!

Then came the turn of ShanBhag.......



It Should be renamed into PareSHAN Hokar BHAG!!!!!

The Items were Somewhat Cold and Not that tasty.

It has been a Hectic month till now.I had enrolled into a small company as a .Net trainee and worked for few days.Then I got Selected for ICICI Infotech and Now I am Joining SSIHL for pursuing my MBA.



But I have come here to share some Delightful & Dreadful Experiences while eating out in Hyderabad during the past week.



Monday,I Visited The Kshetra,a Cosy & ambient Hotel Located on top of a small hill Just nearby the Vidyut Soudha in Somajiguda.It was empty when i walked in and was really well-cooled as compared to the heat outside.

There were Some Nice Paintings On the walls (Ravi Verma's I was Told).

Had a Sumptous Lunch Comprising a Mix of Chinese & Mughlai

Food was Okay and so were the rates.140 odd for a single person isn't that expensive in Hyd i suppose.I would Definitely Recommend it to Fellow Visitors.As I was about to move out,I heard Loud voices from the kitchen and Holyy Smokes!!! They were in Oriya.I sauntered back n on enquiry,I found that half the staff were from Puri in Orissa.Chatted with them for a while and was on my way again.



Then comes the Dreadful Experience that I & a Lord Friend of mine faced Just Yesterday Evening itself.We were supposed to go to Paradise but somehow ended up at this place called Chillies situated down the road from JNTU.And The theme of the night was.....Guess what?- "Waiting"

We Waited for a Table,then waited for it to be cleaned and further waited for someone to bring us the menu and waited some time for placing the order and again waited some more time for the food to arrive.Food was Okay.Non-Veggies have all the luck as Veg & Non Veg were priced the same!!! We opted for Fully Indian & thanked heavens when it turned out good.Service left a lot to be desired though.The water in the Finger-Bowl was Cold and the tissues peeled off as we wiped our hands

And By now I was Damn sure that we would have to wait some more time for the Bill to arrive and yet some more waiting for the change to arrive.

The Entire Sojourn lasted 2 hours and only 30 mins were spent in eating!!!



In between thses two outings,I hadone or two little outings and among them Hungry Jacks in S.R.Nagar & Minerva Coffee Shop at Ameerpet Stood Out.

well....all 3 restaurants in the ground floor are good enuf...and cater to different cuisines....

dont bother going to the food court on the top floor unless u r interested in the combo-thalis. the chaats are too expensive and dont taste as good as the bandi variety.
