Dimaagh mein aise ideas kaiku aathe miyan? Why do you want to go on a drive to spread awareness and Deccan Pride when our country is already falling apart because of so many things. As if the request for a seperate telengana wasnt enough.

How can you call yourself a Dakhni Potta when you are in Mumbai......just curious ....pleae explain.

OK! I'll humor you and agree that all the people from the Deccan Plateau should get back to their roots and become united.

Since we are all the same, how come our cuisines are so varied. How come the language in Hyderabad is different from the language in Solapur and Nagpur. How come even the clothes are so different? What common link binds us to call ourselves Deccani?

Also Dakhni Potta......me being a little stupid and uninformed, am unaware of the language of the Deccan that you have mentioned here. Can ya please elaborate

aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo

aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo

aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo (2)
ho gaya dil mera sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo

koyi mastana kahe koyi deewana kahe
koyi parwana kahe jalne ko beqarar
chahat ka mujh pe asar
main duniya se bekhabar
chalta hoon apni dagar
manzil hai meri pyaar
aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo
ho gaya dil mera sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo

aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo

chonko mat aye doston
yoon hi mujhse mat daro
mere bhole pyaar ko
naadaani na samjho
haathon mein jo haath hai
jeevan bhar ka saath hai
seedhi saadi baat hai
kahaani na samjho
aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo
ho gaya dil mera sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo

meri aankhon mein nasha
meri baaton mein nasha
meri saanso mein nasha
behka main bin peeye
ghutati ghutati bebasi
sehmi sehmi har ghadi
bin chahat ka zindagi
jeeta main kiss liye
aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo
ho gaya dil mera sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo

aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa karoon main kya sukoo sukoo
aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo, aai aai yaa sukoo sukoo

by HH » Tue Mar 22, 2005 6:26 pm

(Urdu) influenced the local dialects like Marathi, Telugu and Kannada and their synthesis produced a new language, Old Urdu that was popularly known as Dakhni.
