How to help bright deserving students

by ChanakyaC » Sat Jan 08, 2005 11:42 am

ppl,

I would like to help economically backward and bright students with finances and personal guidance.

I need suggestions on how to go about:

- Choosing a school

- selecting students

- extent of help (monetary/otherwise)

- periodicity of assistance

I have some ideas but I am looking for independent views on this subject.

About me:

I am a student—have worked for 4 years in a top 3 technology services company before coming back to school again.

Thanks Enigma and Ilayaraja fan.

I appreciate your ur help.

Any pointers on the following will be helpful: Specific educational institutions from where I can pick a student, criteria I can use to to select students and ways to help (monetary/books etc).
