Oops my apologise for taking up webspace and starting another thread asking for the same.

Yea I really fail to understand why the thread was removed. What was the thought process put in before removing it?

I seriously would doubt your logic if you removed it due to the content, I beleive it was a legitimate public debate, and for once without any flares and flames.

If it was the name that you found something that would incite hatred, a sane person reading through the thread would have understood where we stand on that. How long does it take for you to change the name though!!!

It was a very legtimate debate on vilification and classification of extremism. Cha cha cha... its a pity you thought otherwise.

Question 1: How is it degrading the quality of the forum? We had a good discussion going on.

Question 2: what kind of people are who? we who were discussing it or those who created that site?

I can show you several new paper reports of people being killed and ISI agents being arrested in Hyderabad. Is that reason enough to discuss pakistan?

And finally, IIRC, Hyderabad is a part of India which makes us all Indians and hence discussing pakistan or any other threat for that matter is relevant to us hyderabadis.

I am disappointed that the mods decided to delete that thread while letting many stupid threads exist.

There is a high volume of posts on fullhyd.com, and it is not possible at this time to keep track constantly. Please report any deviations from protocol to webmaster at fullhyd dot com or send us a PM.

We saw the title of the thread in question and a remonstration based on it, and felt it might be justified - since the number of replies on the thread were too many, we did not go through it completely, and saw just the first few replies where even other users said it was not necessary to rouse anti-Pak sentiments at this time. Even if it were an error to delete the thread, we're afraid it is not technologically possible to restore the thread now.

Enigma, your creations are awesome.

Well I think I should start by thanking all the members who supported my view that the deleted thread should be brought back.
Thank you people. (I think Enigma deserves a 'special thank you' for her effort)

I have a few requests to make of the mods, since they have the ultimate power and decision making capacity. Just remember this quote from the movie 'spiderman',,
"WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY".
Most people enjoy wielding power but shy away from the responsibilties that power brings with it. I hope the moderators are more responsible to the members when using their powers in the future. Just know this, once the members lose confidence in your decision making capacity they will lose confidence in the boards and then their will be just a few members who post and that inturn reduces your the ambit of your power. So these things have a nasty way of coming back at you.

I also noticed that you guys said,"Even if it were an error to delete the thread". It goes to show that you are not fully convinced that it was a mistake. There is nothing wrong in accepting a mistake, afterall we are all human,arent we?. But this is just an opinion, accept it if you like it or ignore it. Thats your own personal call.

And finally a few words about "SS",

This just goes to show how "assumptions" can royally screw up our ideas about people.

SORRY , SimarikSmokin. I really mean it. And thanks for not falling into this pretty trap of assumptions and staying above this all.
