well, the topic is more in the context of "Chatting" for a relationship with opposite sex. It seems that people who tries to get a chat friend (not to mention -opposite sex) usually lacks a good social life. But then people who meet in chat rooms of specific topic (say music/rock) doesn't seem to be so.
it seems the identity crisis is fueling many, to get a GF/BF 'somehow', and peers consider u great if u have one. Where as, the fact is, its great fish out there in the real world than in chat rooms. Try in colleges for GFs than in chat rooms works better and faster. And in the process of it, social life also improves.
