Will single eligible women be bothered by men?

by Shruti » Tue Apr 23, 2002 12:30 am

I was wondering what hydbadies think about this!
Single women-unmarried,divorced,seperated,widowed.....are they going to be targets to men-on-the-prowl?Will they be able to have friendships with guys without having to fend off every attempt to get her in the .....?
yes,i know it depends on the woman and how she carries herself.....but come on..guys are a little blind (when need be)even when flashed with neon lights.......So what do u guys and sirls out there think?I am really curious.

5% is a percentage that would horrify the entire \"men\" population atleast in India as we Indians do still believe in moral values.

I would strongly argue that this is not true. Most of our girls still consider indulging in sex prior to marriage \"a sin\".
We as citizens of Indian society have a responsibility on us to protect and promote our cultural and ethical values. Irresponsible statements like this (5% one) are quite detrimental. We should excercise extreme care before making such statements.

I hope my message is taken in a constructive way.

pretty zestful allrite tho he missed the gist of it all :-)
and as for the topic.....theres no doubt that a single woman is considered easy prey.....i have found this state of mind more prevalent in hyd especially......guess this happens coz most of the guys are sexually frustrated jerks.....though i must restate the fact that (ok i know u r tired of this cliche...) there are a few nice guys around who wont mind having a lady as just a friend.......and yes i have a feeling this is going to be a long, drawnout discussion

Hey dhaga,
i\'ve got nothing against men and their genes....i must admit they are a required complication in our lives...but i\'m talking about targeting single women.....yes it happens because it is natural behaviour (as u put it)but what i am wondering is-everytime this woman talks to opp sex...even knowledgable topics,or just wants a good friend....does she always have to worry about his intentions and moves? And please we listen through our eyes, ears and most importantly our brains.....!

As for your second Misrepresentative point:
Men are not \"BLIND: for surely they fall in love with you women through their \"EYES\" in contrast to you women who fall in love through your \"EARS\".
THIS PROVES WOMEN ARE BLIND AS A BAT.

You must have heard about the proverb \"Curiosity killed the CAT\".
I cannot bring myself to fully bear the thought that women will not be bothered by men on this green globe. After all they were ment to as their dominant genes steer them to this insolent behavior.
This will surely apply to both the voluantary species.

Hey Shruti,
do you belong to the 5% OR the other 95%.
In my view YOU ARE ACTING LIKE THE CAT WHO SWALLOWED THE CANARY.
I hope you understand what i mean.

i totally agree with shruti.....its nobody\'s business to meddle with someone\'s personal life.....and i for one wouldnt care if my girl is a virgin or not....but what troubles me a bit is that ppl seem to be having sex not because they like their partner but just for the sake of having it.......it has become more of a keeping count thing......i dont know if others have observed it as well but i wld really like to know the reasons for this mindset.......and as for mr.gentleman, shruti, he is just a soft man......i guess in all the right places too ;-)

Well,so many questions....first od all-Mr.dd,iunderstandwhat u mean...and no i am not the \'cat who swallowed the canary\'....but if i happen to have an opiniated mind is it something to be ashamed off?....and i agreee with cleaning societ about how the rigidity and more orthodox a family is...more the girls seek \"freedom\"....have seen it happen.....and lastly i do notice that Mr.gentleman is hitting on me even after reading the discussion i am having.....????

Hi,
I am working in the field of
Gynaecology(dealing with abortions
and termination of pregnacy etc)
I strongly say that atleast 60%
of girls have sex before marriage
please beleive me.They prefer to use tablets only initially. But aftersome time elapse they are forced to go for MTP.The persons who are working with girls studying together talk as if they are real couples like the date on which to have sex and planning the place of sex(friends house) etc.The surprising fact is that the girls living in very strict and orthodox families are more prone for this type of behaviour.Beleive me this is true.
I am a lady who only feel numb by
seeing all these things daily

Hi friends,
I posted my topic as i really wanted to know what hyd had to say about this issue, and must admit my clarity about it has improved......to answer ur ques dear girlfriend,i do not believe that its all about\"sex,sex,sex\"...i agree sex is important, even integral part, but there is more....and having sex b4 marriage is indivisual\'s choice....if he/she are in that place in their life its nobody else\'s business.it only is painful if they feel guilty and ashamed and carry it with them forever that it becomes a burdern......and as to what tambourineman said \"there are a few nice guys around who wont mind having a lady as just a friend..\"...i completely agre with it.just depends on the girls to recognize them.....and about 5% and other statastical data.i wouldn\'t give it importance.....acc to me if i met a guy, liked him after knowing him, fell in love with him,etc etc..then i wouldn\'t rack my head if he was a virgin or not......what\'s imp is what i feel for him....same i think goes for women.if he man loves her,he should respect what her life was b4 he arrived in the picture.after all she did have a life b4 his entrance?

by what?? » Sun Apr 28, 2002 12:30 am

abt the orthodox gals thing..its just coz they realise the repercussions of what theyre doing...not that they r perpetually horny!! and theres one last thing, if there are so many gals losing their virginity daily or yearly or whatever, there r guys in almost equal number(it actually follows the gamma distribution of 4th order with the parameter 3...what the !@#$)..so ppl its the society that we re living in ...if we are making great tech. advances it must be at the cost of something...one of them happens to be social and cultural values..that we ve been storing up in the attic but not dumping them...its like that mail from your old boy friend that you have in your mailbox...u dont want to delete it...and you dont want to reply either.....

Shruthi, Most of the ment will have that extra component of \"beyond the friendship\" if the women are having those \"good fits\" that men usually look for. Otherwise most the men will become gentlemen & \"try\" to restict themselves to friendship.
