Can platonic friendships exist?

Haven\'t we all heard that line somewhere? Unfortunately for us, the Indian society still cannot digest the fact that a guy and girl can be \"just friends\" (sic). The moment you tell people that you have a good friend who is a guy/girl, meaningful glances are exchanged not to mention the sarky \"yeah.. right\" retort. But then there is a very thin line between friendship and love. And if the past is any indicator (no not only KKHH!)the line has often blurred. Actually a lot depends on the 2 individuals. As long as your intentions are honest, you shouldn\'t stop yourself from forging genuine friendships, right?

Yes, platonic friendships between a male and female do exist. I have one for more than 25 years! But, they are getting rare. and people do raise their eyebrows, when they know about it. If both, I really mean both, friends are sincere and honest, such a friendship will be very rewarding and enriching experience.

Females are nowadays getting upper edge in all working places etc.
they are flirting nicely changing persons nicely insulting poor

the person who has got good
physique or (money+spending mentality) always wins girls.

i thought that platonic realtionships can exist between a male and female , but i was wrong.that can never happen , the society surrounding us , will never let us have that feeling in our minds in the first place , and hence the mind is polluted.Never can such a thing happen in this indian society.

Platonic relations can exist. Agreed that they are rare but they do exist. And my guess is that they are rare because it requires a lot of sincerety from both sides and that is rare in a society infested mostly with people like this guy.
