Youre right, CAD. I watch movies and series on tv (bollywood and hollywood) where the woman is abused physically and emotionally by the men they love. And they just accept it! Im like "WHAAAAT???"

Women need to understand that their self-respect and dignity is more important than their relationship with some man who acts with deliberate disregard for her feelings, rights, not to mention health.

I personally know 2 women who were battered by their lovers. I just want to slap them myself and give them a lesson on how they should expect to be treated.

Any man who'll raise his hand on a woman is a bloody cowardly caveman. Respect and tact is whats essential in any kind of relationship.

Forget movies & TV...it happens in real life too. Salman - Aishwarya anyone?

Yes...and this requires a herculean effort from the youth. Looking at the way girls are being treated nowadays (read eve teasing, molestation etc.), I don't see that happening soon.

Give me their addresses. I charge a hundred thousand for broken bones. And I don't do murders.

I feel that you were being judgemental there.

i hold our films responsible in a big way for eve-teasing etc. the way our films portray the hero's eve teasing in a positive lite, the youngsters wud think the ladies in real life wud fall for such cheap tactics too. i consider eve teasing as flirting that has crossed the line of decency...and those guys desrve to be bashed up in public...

Eve-teasers are an annoying and mischeivous bunch. I wish I could kick them where the sun dont shine, but I avoid confrontation. Besides, doing that would only worsen the problem.
