Re: displaced compassion

"...But he is innocent. He did all this because he did not have a good childhood. let us show compassion and make him a right person. the best place of his stay...There is something called consequences,***** .." (was that _?.. is that what you are calling me? I was just curious)

If thats what you think I was talking about when I said 'compassion'. You misunderstood. I was talking about teaching your children about the need for compassion and human values. I'd like to remind you what i said about the father. "...Why did the father do this dastardly act? because he thought he can get away with it...." not that i think the circumstances are to blame.

I wouldnt sympathize with the criminal, but then I detest inflicting pain.. whatever may happen. Put him in jail for the rest of his energetic life. ("..He doesnt have a place in civilized society..")

Ok dude, do understand ur point..

u believe in tryin to rehabilitate the criminal.. I believe they should pay for the crime/s they've committed n that is only by experiencing the same humiliation/pain as they inflicted upon the helpless victim/s :!:

as for the 'change' aspect, great thought.. im willing to work for it..

but still, keeping a known criminal in jail for these kind of crimes just in the hope of rehab is stupid.. a bullet in the back of the head will do

The most pathetic aspect of this whole incident is

All the neighbours knew about this, but nobody did nothing about it,neither did the mother..

Why do think the "neighbours " kept quite when such shady business was happening around them...??

Even the mother could not muster enough courage to defend her daughters..!!

I feel these "neighbours " and the mother are equally guilty for not speaking up against such a ghastly act..!!

What we as the common man lack is "courage" to speak up against injustice...!!

As long as we do not develop the courage..no amount of any education is going to help ..!!

hey, thx for bringing that up.. totally agree with u on that..

a person who see's a crime being committed n does nuthin to stop it is as guilty as the criminal..

Prophet Muhammed [Peace be on Him] said that 'If u see an injustice happening before u, stop it with ur hand. If u cannot, try to stop it with ur tongue. If u cannot do that, atleast curse in ur heart and that is the lowest amount of Faith'

This 'lookin away' attitude is humanity at its worst :!:
