Newly-launched Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) party founder M Kodandaram said that the party would give first priority to those who played a key role in the statehood for Telangana movement.
Addressing a meeting after releasing the TJS party flag and poster today at a function hall at Bagh Lingampally, Kodandaram said that he floated the TJS with the spirit of the Telangana martyrs, and that the TJS would set up a Spoorthy Vanam in memory of the martyrs.
Kodandaram was highly critical of the TRS government. He said that the restrictions over the people's freedoms by the ruling party and its dictatorship would not be tolerated. The TRS government was working against the people's interests, and the public were looking at the TJS as an alternative, he claimed.
"We will show our strength and might in the April 29 party formation public rally," he said.
