The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) has condemned the news of the Deputy Chief Minister post being offered to party chief M Kodandaram by the Telangana Mahakootami.
The TJS said that there was no truth to the news reports that Congress leader K Jana Reddy had offered a Deputy Chief Minister post to Kodandaram. The party also slammed reports that the Congress had offered some seats to the TJS upon the condition that the TJS leaders would contest the elections on the Congress symbol and that Kodandaram should stay away from the elections.
TJS leaders have alleged that some political parties have intentionally launched false campaigning against Kodandaram, and said that the TJS would have a position in the Mahakootami befitting its stature.
