Spitting fire at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy alleged that the CM was speaking like a drunkard.
Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday, Reddy said that the TRS had won the Singareni elections just because of the non-unity of the Opposition parties. He asked KCR whether it would have been possible for the TRS to win the Singareni elections if all the opposition parties had fought on a single forum.
Reddy accused KCR of arrogance and considering himself the centre of the universe. He asked KCR if using "vaadu" and "veedu" to speak about JAC chairman M Kodandaram was fair. He asked KCR what sin Kodandaram had committed to deserve disrespect like that, and what language the opposition leaders should use to talk about KCR. He also demanded to know if KCR felt that Thummala Nageshwara Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were Telangana warriors and Kodandaram was a betrayer of Telangana.
"Even a drunkard calls his mother as mother and sister as sister. But KCR speaks differently," he said.
Quoting an old proverb, he said that the distance between KCR's house and Kodandaram's house was the same as the distance between Kodandaram's house and KCR's house.
He also pooh-poohed KCR for claiming that there was no TDP in Telangana.
