Jagruti Leader Thrashes Man In Hospital, Flees

A Telangana Jagruti leader allegedly thrashed a person in a hospital at Uppal today, and escaped from the hospital upon seeing the police arrive.

One Santosh, a Telangana Jagruti leader, allegedly thrashed a person in a hospital at Uppal on Thursday. The atrocity was recorded in CC cameras.

According to the police, two persons Eega Jangaiah and Pilli Nagaraju quarreled over a land dispute in Bharat Nagar in the Uppal area and exchanged blows. Nagaraju's supporters were admitted to a hospital with severe injuries as a result.

Upon knowing of the incident, Telangana Jagruthi Uppal convener Santosh went to the hospital and beat Nagaraju and his followers further severely.

The hospital authorities lodged a complaint with the police on the incident. While Santosh escaped from the hospital upon seeing the police, several persons who indulged in the violence were taken into custody by the police.
