Hyderabad | 7th August 2018
Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar today personally requested his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao to support his party candidate Harivansh Narayan Singh in the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman election.

On Tuesday morning, Kumar called KCR and explained how his party candidate needed the support of the TRS lawmakers in the election for the post and asked KCR to get the TRS to rally around Singh.

Responding to Kumar's request, KCR said that he would discuss the issue with his party colleagues and take a final decision.
