MJCET Student Killed After Car Hits Divider

A youth died on the spot and another was grievously injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a road divider on Banjara Hills Road No 3.

A youth died on the spot and another was grievously injured when the car in which they were travelling hit the road divider at the Banjara Hills Road No 3 junction on Tuesday.

The youth Farsat Ali, studying in Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and living in MLA Colony, died on the spot in the accident. The police rushed to the spot and pulled out the other injured person and shifted him to a hospital.

Due to the accident, vehicular traffic came to a grinding halt on the route, and the commuters were subjected to hardships. The police took a while to remove the car and clear the traffic.

Eye witnesses said that the car was driving at a high speed and flipped several times and overturned. The road just before the crash site has a sharp turn followed by a steep incline.
