Caretaker minister T Harish Rao today launched a broadside against the Maha Kootami of the Congress, the Telugu Desam Party and the CPI.
Speaking at a program at Siddipet today, Rao said that several parties needed to gang up to take on the might of the ruling party, which itself showed how popular the TRS was and how many people were with it. The alliance was a futile effort by the opposition parties, and they would fail to even put up a fight and would be dumped into the sea by the people, he claimed.
The alliance was getting funds from TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, who had been trying to sabotage the development of Telangana, Rao alleged. He also said that for that very reason the alliance would loot the people if voted to power.
Rao also said that Chandrababu Naidu needed to come out with the reasons that he was creating hurdles for the implementation of the bifurcation promises. "The TDP chief should come out clearly on what he wants with regard to the river water sharing and the distribution of assets between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu appears to be unable to make his stance clear on whether he will be with Andhra Pradesh or Telangana where the distribution of assets is concerned," Rao said.
Rao stated that the TRS would come up with a manifesto to prevent the migration of people and suicides, and to achieve welfare for all sections. He said that the farmers would develop dramatically in the next 60 months if the people supported them over the next 60 days.
