Devotees thronged the Sammakka-Saralamma jathara in lakhs on the last day on Saturday, to have a darshan of the goddesses.
According to Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari, 1.5 crore people visited the jathara in all.
Chief Secretary S K Joshi and DGP M Mahender Reddy were among those to visited the jathara on the last day. The officials made special arrangements for them.
The two also conducted a review meeting on the arrangements for the devotees. The officials informed them that they had made all possible arrangements to see that the devotees did not face any trouble.
Among other prominent people who visited the jathara on the last day were Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav who came along with his family members. He carried traditional the "bangaram" (jaggery) overhead and offered it to the presiding deities after weighing in a balance with the jaggery.
Also visiting were Finance Minister Etela Rajender and his wife Jamuna. Rajender, too, offered the goddesses jaggery equal to his weight.
Endowment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and officials were present.
