Former Warangal East MLA Konda Surekha alleged that a "dora rule" was going on in the state, and that the TRS had committed a grave mistake by refusing a ticket to her.
She claimed that her husband and she had received invitations from 15 political parties, including the BJP, to join them. "We will announce our future course of action soon. I will contest the elections. I will shortly announce which party I will join. My husband and my daughter will also be in the election arena," she said.
"I will not join the TRS again. Are we weaker than the 105 candidates announced by KCR?" she added.
Launching a tirade against the TRS and its boss, Surekha said that neither KCR nor his son K T Rama Rao cared to speak to her though she had addressed an open letter to them. Playing the BC and the female cards, she said that KCR had such scant respect for her and had sidelined her as she was a BC and a woman.
"KCR is suppressing the BCs and troubling them as they are Harish Rao's supporters. Even Harish Rao is facing problems in the party, to the extent that he even said that he would leave politics. And despite my being an MLA four times, KCR didn't give me a berth in the Cabinet. Non-inclusion of even a single woman in Cabinet shows how much respect KCR has towards women," the feisty politician said.
"There is growing opposition among the people towards KCR, who did not fulfill any of his election promises. For example, he claimed that he would provide a job to every family, but the only thing that happened is that four members of KCR's family got jobs - Kavitha who came to India to stay here for a month on vacation has become a businesswoman. No poor farmers benefited from the Rythu Bandhu scheme, only rich farmers did. KCR was never accessible to the people or even to the public representatives. KCR knows all this, and is afraid of defeat if the Assembly elections are held along with the Lok Sabha elections next year, and hence has opted for early polls," Surekha added.
She also accused the caretaker CM of corruption, and alleged that his family took commissions for every work from the contractors.
