Four laboratory technicians of Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, were arrested on Saturday for sexually harassing women trainees deputed for lab training at the hospital.
The accused have been identified as Mohammed Akram (47), Thambi Anthony Sebastian (53), and Jannu Madhu Babu (30), all laboratory technicians, and Mandalam Durga Das (36), a laboratory attendant.
According to the DCP, North Zone, Secunderabad, some women staff who were deputed to Gandhi Hospital for training had complained to the hospital superintendent in August alleging sexual harassment at the hands of the four accused.
In an enquiry taken up by the superintendent in September, the four lab technicians were found guilty.
On Friday, the trainee victims lodged a complaint with the Chilkalguda police, and the four accused were arrested on Saturday and sent to judicial remand.
