Hyderabad | 4th July 2018
Excise Minister T Padma Rao and some TRS workers were acquitted in two cases filed during the 2014 elections.

The Nampally criminal court struck down the cases after a hearing today.

Advocate Santhosh Reddy represented the TRS leaders.

For the uninitiated, the then Congress government had filed two cases against Rao and some TRS leaders of the Secunderabad Assembly constituency in the run-up to the 2014 general elections for violation of norms.

Rao and the TRS leaders attended the court for the hearing.
