CPI Threatens To Break Open L B Stadium Gates

The party demanded that the officials of the Sports Authority of Telangana open the outer gates of the L B Stadium and Indoor Stadium immediately.
Hyderabad | 7th November 2017
Demanding that the officials of the Sports Authority of Telangana render justice to car decor store owners and their workers by opening the outer gates of the L B Stadium and Indoor Stadium immediately, CPI national secretary K Narayana warned the body that they would destroy the gates if the authorities failed to open them.

Narayana, accompanied by car decor store owners, examined the closed gates of the L B Stadium on Tuesday. They also met Sports Authority of Telangana deputy collector Chandravathi and explained the problems being faced by the car decor stores. The CPI leader asked Chandravathi to settle the issues like rent arrears and parking problems through deliberations.

Narayana said that closing the outer gates was nothing but affecting the livelihood of the car decor shop owners and the labourers working in the shops. He also said that it was not correct on the part of the officials to give all the sought permissions and subsidies to the Fateh Maidan Club, in which the "big sharks" took rest, and harass petty car decor shops owners.

The CPI leader warned that his party would break open the locks in case the officials failed to open the outer gates within a week.

L B Stadium Shops Tenants' Welfare Association leaders Sayyed Saleemuddin, Muthyam Reddy, Sathyanarayana and others participated in the program along with Hyderabad City CPI secretary E T Narasimha.
