Andhra Pradesh BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana today said that the Centre had extended all possible financial assistance to help residual Andhra Pradesh develop during the last four years.
Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, Lakshminarayana, who arrived there to confer with the senior leaders of the party, alleged that the TDP was trying to mislead the people with its manipulated figures.
He also accused the ruling party of spreading false information alleging that the BJP was behind the Jana Sena and the YSR Congress Party.
Kanna claimed once again that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had deceived people of all castes, and that the people were in no mood to believe him now. The people were also seeing the levels to which the TDP could stoop to from the objectionable language they were using against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
The BJP would create awareness programs and inform the people about the "deceitful" tactics of the TDP, he said. The party would also organize dharnas across the state in protest against the government's attitude and police atrocities, he added.
Party leaders Daggubati Purandeshwari, MP Haribabu, Gokaraju Gangaraju, Som Veerraju, Satish and others attended the meeting.
