Telugu film actress Apoorva today lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime police against the followers of Denduloor (in West Godavari district) MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar for harassing her on the social media.
In her complaint, she alleged that the followers of the MLA were posting nasty comments against her and her family members on the social media and seriously harassing her.
She alleged that the followers of the MLA were resorting to such "illegal" acts as she had made some comments against their leader in the past.
She urged the police to take immediate action against those responsible for the "criminal" acts and help her come out of the trauma she had been suffering since the launch of the attacks.
She also urged Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to look into the issue and take action against his MLA. She said that her family members and she had been the members of the TDP for a long time, and that she had come out the party as she could not tolerate the harassment of the MLA.
Apoorva, a small-time but familiar middle-aged actress in Tollywood, portrayed mostly randy women or women of easy virtue in her film career.
